The Good Points And Bad Points Of The Porter Cable Poket Hole Jig

Nov 22, 2011

For the hobbyist who welcomes any excuse that lets him or her retreat to the satisfying work in a small shop, there is one big advantage associated with the new tool called the Porter Cable pocket hole jig. That device is easy to set up. Therefore, the person who buys it does not have to spend a lot of time putting it together and mounting it on the working bench.
However, testimonies posted on the Internet indicate that not every buyer has chosen to praise this jig’s biggest selling point. In fact, one customer has complained about the absence of a portable base. The lack of such a component means that these newer jigs can not be moved about with ease. The same person has criticized the high asking price for these latest cabinet-making products. That would seem to do away with one of the benefits that are generally linked to such boring equipment.
